Ship Inn - Porthleven
The Ship Inn is a great pub with a delicious autumn/winter menu. You can find a range of dishes from smoked mackerel pate to classic mac 'n' cheese, as well as traditional baps. All dishes are cooked freshly on the premises in the small kitchen, however, please note that during busy periods there may be a wait of up to 45 minutes. The Ship Inn is open 7 days a week and also offers gluten-free and vegetarian options. They do not take bookings, they are a first come, first served kind of pub.
Harbour Inn Sunday roast - Porthleven
On Sunday, diners can enjoy a wide selection of dishes from the Sunday Lunch menu at this restaurant. Appetizers range from Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia to Basil & Toasted Pine Nut Gnocchi, while sharer options include a Baked Camembert. Main dishes include Brie, Cranberry & Mushroom Wellington, Apricot & Chestnut Roast, West Country Beef, Roast Pork Loin, Roast Turkey, and Fish & Chips. Side dishes are equally varied, including Triple-Cooked Chips, Mashed Potato, and Roasted Winter Vegetables. For dessert, diners can choose from Sticky Toffee Pudding, Black Forest Trifle, Chocolate Brownie, Lemon Meringue Pie, Fruit & Nut Flapjack, and Cornish Ice Cream & Sorbets. For a cheese course, there's a West Country Cheese Board.
The Harbour Inn is the only "chain" pub on this list, owned and operated by St Austell brewery.

Reputedly one of the oldest inns in Cornwall

- Served with roast potatoes, kale, honey roast carrot and parsnip, swede mash, creamed leeks and sprouts, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding
- 'Squid three ways', ink risotto, torched squid, crispy tentacles, radish, dill, samphire, saffron
- Desserts: sticky toffee pudding, vanilla ice cream or clotted cream, lemon posset, vanilla shortbread, chocolate brownie sundae
